Workshop objectives

In these two sessions, participants will explore strategies, theories and research to help better understand (and get the best of out of) both themselves and others. 

Core themes of the programme include:

Session 1

Developing an understanding of performance preferences (behaviour and mindset).

 

Session 2

Developing an understanding of how performance preferences can be drawn upon when having tough conversations

The context / performance culture of a team

Key traits that ‘high performing cultures’ have in common

 

Target Audience

Tier 2 courses are for experienced teaching staff (including HLTAs, teachers and school leaders) seeking to further their skills and knowledge of teaching practices in SEN settings, or those seeking opportunities for career progression. It is not suitable for trainee teachers.
