Cooperative Learning Networks
We come together as we know that together each one of us are better informed and in stronger positions to move forward and to improve provision for our young people.
Our networks provide opportunity for shared decision making, emotional as well as practical support and for the development of a real sense of collaboration rather than isolationism.
Sometimes getting together to share issues and celebrate successes can be seen as ‘what we do’ in education currently but it’s a real strength our networks that colleagues take a proactive role in their development and that they are run by special school leaders for special school leaders.
We have networks for school leaders based on the dimensions of need for their schools who meet termly, countywide Strategic forum for Headteachers and Leadership forum for senior leaders who meet six times a year to bring together cohesive policy & practice, consistent approaches and strategies and coherent, equitable provision.
As a cooperative we are stronger together and accept our roles in leading as well as benefiting from, the supportive learning community we have created.
